Online Auction and BBQ Dinner

Last year's BBQ/Auction funds went to repainting the #706, repainting the freight house platform fence, a start on the repainting of the PCRY 1200-series boxcar, and a little left over for future projects. Thank you! to all who participated.

Join in the fun this year to raise funds for getting our Southern Pacific Railroad box car #28148 across the finish line. Over the years, slowly but surely, the car has been entirely renovated except for the door - the one last piece of the renovation project. Once the finished door is in place, we need to move the completely renovated car to the Museum display track. And ultimately, create a new exhibit inside the car: "The People of the Southern Pacific Railroad, Central Coast." This is envisioned as a display to honor the men and women of the SPRR who worked here on the Central Coast, especially those who gave their lives working on the railroad.
