2024 Railroad Festival at the Museum
Here's the complete Central Coast Railroad Festival (CCRRF) Schedule (including events at other venues at other dates and times)
Parking is limited at the Museum. Additional free parking is available Saturday ONLY about four blocks south of the Museum along South Street at the Unitarian Church, 2201 Lawton Avenue (see an aerial view). A narrow entrance-only driveway is off Lawton and the main parking lot in/out driveway is off Meadow. It's less than 10 minutes to walk.

Festival Information Headquarters ONLY (no special activities or exhibits). Regular admission: $6/adult, $4/child (4-15), members free. The Central Coast Model Railroad will be open.

Happy Hour Fundraiser at the House of Bread Cafe, 4pm-6pm, 1025 Farmhouse Lane, SLO, just show up and join the fun! Eliza Sings is joined by her husband Will White so "Homemade" will be providing musical entertainment. And SLO Railroad Museum docents Debbie Grozan and Ken Green will be serving as bartenders.

Presentation: "Santa Maria Valley Railroad: Trailblazing Women in the Rail Industry" by Rob Himoto, President SMVRR, and Belinda Popovich. The Santa Maria Valley Railroad was a pioneer in women in railroading, having the first female director in the nation and one of the first female presidents in the nation. Learn more about Santa Maria Valley Railroad's impact on women in railroading. Afterwards, visit the Friends-SMVRR booth on the Museum platform.
